Back when my company provided me with a Palm M105, I tried Docs to Go. Let me just say, I wasn't really that impressed.

Blackberry Desktop Manager is available for download already at http://www.blackberry.com/support/index.shtml and then click on Service Packs. Choose Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.2 from the drop-down list. I have been told by RIM that this will work with any model Blackberry device. However, the Media Manager portion of the application will only work with the 8100 (Pearl) series since that is the only model at this time with removable media.
