BlackBerry 8820 To Replace 8800 at Rogers Wireless
Via mobilemag: "If you happen to find yourself in a Rogers Wireless store, you may notice that they are completely sold out of the BlackBerry 8800 Curve. The QWERTY-packing device with the funky trackball navigator has been reasonably popular for the Canadian provider, so why haven't they bothered to replenish its stock? Well, as great as the 8800 may be, the 8820 is just that much better.
"8800 Curve" huh....... new model
Yeah you know I've actually seen quite a few references to the "8800 Curve". Seriously sometimes I wonder where people get their info from...does 8800 series look curved!? :P

The Blackberry 88xx series never had a nickname; the 83xx are Curve.
Also the 8800 never had a camera.
As one who has had the 8820 for some time, the only major feature difference is that the 8820 has WiFi. Which ideally should mean that 8820 users can use Rogers new Home Calliing Zone service (but you can handle data over any accessible WiFi connection). HCZ gives voice calling through accessible WiFi zones within Canada.
