Help is help whenever it comes! I am just trying to help as much as I can because I just switched over from a Windows Mobile phone (Sprint Mogul) and it was very frustrating getting AIM 2.0 installed, so I have no problem others out with this one!

Thanks to both NotYaAverage and stnkyq2
But I get the frustrating "No additional applications found for your device" error....so you must delete the _vendorxxx everywhere on the file correct?
and do you get rid of the extra spaces too?? thanks guys

First, go to http://www.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=wlm20 to install the software, it shouldn't block you at all from installing the software, versus the previous version of MSN Live Messenger that did before.

Second, I found these service books somewhere on this site, or another site, but they are service books for all of the IM programs that RIM makes. This file is a backup of service books.

Third, launch Desktop Manager and restore this backup file to your Sprint Curve. The file contains about 10 service books. You know you will have it right when it asks you to accept Terms and Conditions.

I am running 4.5.033 on a Sprint 8330.

I seriously need some trust on this one!
Does work. Thanks for the input. Had the program installed to my 8830 and get "service books" error each time i tried to log in. All i did was download the service book and install. Works. Thumbs up bro.

pearl 8100 with 4.5.0.46 on t-mobile here with msn live finally working.

things i had to do to get it working:

-replaced my service book with the one here in this thread with desktop manager
-battery pull
-went to host routing table and registered to network to get my browser back
-deleted and re-created my internet email account to get gmail working again
-battery pull

not sure if it matters since i'm on t-mobile, but i removed all instances of venderID in the msn.alx file
