AT&T Loses Round 1 in Court Battle with Verizon

In the battle of the wireless giants AT&T has lost one round of the fight today when a judge decided that the "There's a map for that" ads may be "sneaky" but are not misleading and denied AT&T's request to have the ads pulled. "Judge Batten said people might “misunderstand” the commercials, “but that doesn’t mean they’re misleading." It's certainly not the end though since they will have another chance in court on Dec. 16th. But in the mean time AT&T is retaliating with their own ads jabbing back at Verizon.

Haha I like it. This 'fight' is entertaining to watch, especially as a T-Mobile customer

AT&T will Lose every round. There was no base for the suit in the first place and the only thing they have to offer is the iPhone and poor service. I am not a Verizon fanboy but anyone who researches and looks at what both companies offer can clearly see that they need to step it up. If AT&T loses their Monopoly on the iPhone they are done. I don't know anyone who is happy with the coverage they have and all I hear about is dropped calls. Try to get your 3g right before you attempt 4g.

Please save the money spent on commercials and Attorneys and spend it on giving me 3G.

I don't have 3G in case your wondering AT$T and it's getting old.

Any low tech commercial defending your network only makes you look worse than you already are.

I'm curious on why you would purchase a 3G phone when you dont have any 3G service in your area?

Yes I know this, but to buy a phone, knowing that it wont be able to access the 3G due to lack of coverage then to complain about it is just silly.
