    AT&T Announces New Unlimited Plans

Short and sweet, AT&T today rolled out new unlimited plans for all devices on its network. I'm sure this is in response to Verizon's recent price changes.

    Feature Phone
customers may choose unlimited talk for $69.99. Family Talk customers (prices assume two lines) may choose unlimited talk for $119.99 per month. Texting plans remain unchanged at $20 for unlimited plans for individuals and $30 for Family Talk plans.

    Quick Messaging
Device customers may choose unlimited talk and text for $89.99 per month. Quick Messaging Device customers with Family Talk plans may choose unlimited talk and text for $149.99 per month (for two lines). These prices include a required minimum of $20 per month for individual plans and $30 per month for Family Talk plans in texting and/or Web browsing plans for new and upgrading customers.

All smartphone customers, including iPhone customers, may now buy unlimited voice and data for $99.99. For smartphone customers with Family Talk plans (prices assume 2 smartphones), unlimited voice and data is now available for $179.99. Texting plans remain unchanged at $20 for unlimited plans for individuals, $30 for Family Talk Plans.

TMO already has unlimited plans. Is there a new plan coming out?

Though I'm now with Verizon I do remember that with ATT any plan change means new 2 yr contract. Thats one thing I do like about Verizon even before this latest move coming up, you have the option to change your plan any time without renewing your contract.

Why can't att be a leader for once in this industry. Stop waiting for Big Red to make the first moves. Att was a leader when iphone was first released now its whatever, they have fell back behind catch up. They would need to really do BIG things first in the mobile industry.

I have unlimited talk on T-Mobile for $50. At&t still seems expensive.

I saw the HTC Touch Pro 2 on that list. I will be asking about that phone in 8 weeks.

Thats more than I pay ATT now for unlimited voice/data and 200 texts/month for me and my wife (she has a Curve). What a bargain!
