Anyone save the new pictures the link died.
It probably died after the eBay seller saw our comments and knows they are selling something that isn't worth selling and they are not providing all of the details they need to provide. Posting those pics sunk their ship for those who viewed them.

I've got the pictures saved, what do I need to do?
Not sure if it's coincidence but the new pics were removed right after I posted this:
I saved the pics to forward to RIM but will not post from PS servers as source. Anyone else can repost if they like though. However, I'm beginning to smell a fake here.
NOTE: I don't think the seller knows this device very well and/or it's origin (may be wrong). I am in NO WAY claiming that if this is a fake, that it's intentionally being sold as a Blackberry. From the ebay feedback, as a seller he/she seems VERY legit.
Also note the seller's honesty when stating as mentioned in my original post:
"Phone will not power up, however the LCD (and probably many
other parts) are still good. Sold AS IS. We are not sure what model this is"
Yea I think it looks like an ok Chinese knock off again with the back off, possibly a recased Windows Mobile knock off.
Then again I have no real idea thanks for posting the pics.
Compare.... If someone can pull fcc photos of the Moto phone, heat shields and all
BB8900 is mine!
That hand writen number under the camera could be its PIN number.
I read 20678a11 or 20678aa1
This would make the prototype argument a little stronger.

I think this is what tdawg was trying to post:
yeah they definantly look very similar... probably a chinese knock off... i would be very suspect of that unit
The eBay listing has been removed! Why??? Did RIM contact the seller? Was the auction a fake, just to see what would be said about a prototype? Was it just a way to entertain the BrackBerry Addicts...?
