Yup, can't be a real BB. Nothing like any other BB, where is the PIN, where is the MEI and all that?

Look how crappy the camera and the work around that area appears? Really??? I wouldn't pay $100 for that.

I don't know...how rough are prototypes? I've seen Nokia prototypes and they were similar, with tech writing on them. At least we now know that it's not a display phone - it has guts.

Well if it is a non functional prototype, I'm not sure that it would have an IMEI or PIN. I don't think the virtual emulators have them either.

New processor chip in the middle perhaps?

The SIM card area looks a little goofy, the locking bar is very small, also I don't really see the corner notch for the SIM to line up to.

I'm sure with more pics, that will just get even more money from the bid. Good thing I don't have extra cash to drop, or I would be bidding for the BB 9xxx (maybe) brick.

It sure looks like a Prototype.. can't tell what the little white sticker says, but that is defiantly not a released device unless there is a plastic piece missing from in the battery bay.

It's already higher than any other non-working Blackberry I've seen on eBay. Maybe since the seller is so close to the RIM Offices area, they went to a "RIM garage sale" and this is the prototype of a model that they never will be selling; car companies do that, collectors are buying them up like crazy.
