Abaqus Launches the MyGeoRecorder for BlackBerry

Abaqus Inc. today announced the launch of MyGeoRecorder, a GPS-powered mobile application that allows consumers to record personal location-based content in real-time via a mobile phone and then share it with any social network and online service on the web.

MyGeoRecorder was developed on the WHERE platform, and launched on September 17th, 2008. Prior to WHERE, developing and launching a mobile GPS application was both costly and time consuming. "Abaqus has taken full advantage of WHERE to build a very compelling location based application, said Matt Gross, GM, WHERE Developer Programs. "We are excited to bring this application to market and enable our users to take full advantage of their mobile devices connected to a powerful web service."

I also saw that they got a "real BlackBerry app" available on their site in the user area. Windows Mobile devices seem to be supported as well.
