Shouldn't....What applications are you wanting to delete?

You can go Options>Advanced Options>Applications then find the Program you are wanting to delete, click your trackwheel and then delete.

    cnitzken, welcome to PinStack.

How did you install this App? If it's not in the Applications, check in the Browser Channels Bookmarks in your browser Bookmarks.

    Re: Uninstalling Applications

Guys, try opening DM Backup and Restore (click on left hand icon after intellisynch) to see if the app you want to delete is there. Click on it and it will be deleted.

Under Application, look at the modules, if you find the one that corresponds with the app

hi I just uninstalled newsclip as well because I got the free NewsCopier

here is exactly how I did it on my 8703e:

Settings > Options > Advanced Options > Applications >click scrollwheel on Nesclip and select delete.

I dont know if the settings are the same on the 8700c.

    Re: Uninstalling Applications

    On the topic of uninstalling...

We are using the PersistentStore for persistent storage, instead of the RMS. On uninstalling an application, this store is not cleaned up:
    - in some cases, it remains completely intact. Another install of the same app gives the user access to the complete database left behind.
    - in other cases, the persistent store for this app is partially deleted, leaving the complete database corrupt.

We would like to avoid both cases -- on uninstall, we would like to delete all records from the PersistentStore for our application.

Is there a standard install/uninstall framework for Blackberry where we could register custom uninstall actions?

    Thanks for any help,
    Andy
