Does anyone know if there is a way to make pre 4.2 themes work with 4.2 on the 8703e? I had a theme that I was using and I can no longer activate it after the 4.2 upgrade.

    Thanks,

Are you sure it's built for the 87xx series? I have had no problem running 4.1 built themes on 4.2.

I also had a problem running a theme called "Waves Icon" when I moved from 4.1 to 4.2. Has anyone else had similar problems activating themes from the old OS in the new OS?

Also, is there a way to revert back to the old OS? I don't see too many benefits with the 4.2 over 4.1 for my 8700G.

It has installed on it the following

    Blackberry 4.2 core applications
    Blackberry 4.2 system software

I have been trying to download a OTA today theme. It downloads sucessfully and I can see it under themes but I can't activate it. I can activate other (Default Themes). Can anyone help me with this?

    Re: 8700 Theme Problems

    I got this message:

Warnings were encountered during the loading process:

The following modules could not be loaded because their digital signatures were invalid.

    com_plazmic_theme_Black_and_White_Today_8800.cod
    com_plazmic_theme_iPhone_Zen_88.cod
    com_plazmic_theme_Metal_Vista.cod
    com_plazmic_theme_T4BB_Vista_Today.cod

when I tried to install these themes on my 8700 with 4.2.1 OS. These themes are all for 8800, but I also tried a theme for the 8700 with a 4.2.1 OS and got the same message. I have been looking for several days to try to figure out what I might be doing wrong. Anyone have any ideas what I might be doing wrong when I try to install the new themes?
