    You cant send and receive messages while on a call??

    im on AT&T/Cingular and when i had a sprint phone i was able to talk on the phone and send and receive messages no problem but on this phone i dont get my messages till after i get off

    I just noticed i can send and receive text but not emails

    Your saying you was able to receive email during a call?? Cdma doesnt support data and voice at the same time and Att does but only on its umts network.

    Sprint iDEN does allow this, on select phones, but CDMA doesnt as mentioned above.
