    Re: Written Documents

YOu could do this by dragging and dropping on your F, G, H, whatever drive comes up on your desktop when you plug in the BB. It will save there but you won't be able to access it. But you can transfer it to another PC if you needed to do it that way.

    Re: Written Documents

save the document as plain text or word 2003 (or older) and email it to your BB. You can then view it (but not edit it)

    Re: Written Documents

It depends on why you want to put the doc on your BB. If you want to move it from one computer to another just simply drag and drop and use the BB as a flashdrive. If the reason you're doing it is to have it on your Blackberry and edit it and save it and what not, eOffice is a great app to do that with.

    Re: Written Documents

just to read, I would suggest email, it's free and on the BB so loads fast
Google Docs (so far) doesn't have an app and would load from their site so a bit slower
    eOffice is $100 (I believe)

    all would work ok

eOffice then. Costs money, but a good program. You can get it on Handango.

Cliffr39, isn't there the possibility if the Blackberry's memory starts to get full that emails will start disappearing with texts and call logs?

use beamberry....you email it your bb email, open it up with beamberry and it stores it there..idk if you can edit it...i doubt it, but its good to have there tho...keeping it as an email will only clutter your inbox if your trying to save more than one file....just do a search for beamberry and download that...once you open it, click yes on the question it asks you (i forgot it rite now) and it will allow access to that app

yes it can if you send a bunch. I have 2-3 on mine at a time with no issues.

Good thinking, I thought it was just for PDF's but the site says it also handles Word, PPT, XLS, RTF, and zip files. It is free for now but might not stay that way since it says "as part of our Early Access Program..."

    Re: Written Documents

Email it to yourself, open the email and select the attachment, hit the menu button and select "open with Beamberry." Once it's opened you'll have the option to save, view, or print. Select save
