    Who Can Help me?

    OKAY...
Yesterday I left my blackberry 8100 in my car, and when I came back about an hour later I put in my password just like normal to unlock it, and it kept telling me my password was incorrect (which I know it wasnt)
After a few attempts it wiped itself, but I know it was the correct password!
Does my phone have a virus?
I lost all my pics, ringtones, and everything that wasnt on SIM card,
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

    HELP!
    thanks...

Not if it's already wiped itself. That sucks. Most people do a weekly backup of their phone to help in these emergencies.
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

Well at this point, all you can really do is re-install your OS. I'm not sure why it wiped itself if you entered the RIGHT password.

If that information was stored on a SD card then YES you can recover it. If it was stored on your SIM?... Sorry bra.

The OS is still loaded, it is just wiped. SOme times when it does this type of thing you need to pull the battery with the phone on, It is a software glitch, your typing it right but the device is miss reading it. It happens faily rarely.

Not any thing you put on it, Any thing on the SIM card to Memory card is safe, But your address book or anything saved to the phone will be gone, just like it came out of the box. Sorry

I wouldnt be too worried about a BB virus (I think a proof of concept one was developed, didnt do anything, just copied itself to any available BB via bluetooth). Anyway, probably have some rare bug that is affecting you based upon your BB setup. I would look into updating the OS immediately so you dont run into this again. Also consider purchasing an SD card to store your info on so you never have to worry about losing it (mostly). You can buy a 2gb microSD card by Kingston for $10 bucks at newegg! Throw in $2 more and you can get a USB card reader with it!!
