    I'm on my 4th pearl that has the same problem; under my calender

    I go to add a new appt and the screen goes white, I'm still able to type but unable to see what I'm doing

    I've talked to numerous Verizon tech people and it continues to happen. They usually just wipe it clean and then add my numbers back. it starts back right after

    Got a new phone today and it was working ok; this time did not add my phone list and kept it clean; it has happened again.

    I've already tried to take the battery out but it didn't do anything

    Did you buy a refurb? Regardless anything they send you as a handset exchange will be refurbished. If you bought it brand new call them back and demand a brand new... unless someone else has a better idea

    ok, called verizon again and no help. I started to play with it some more and noticed that my email made on the blackberry and it connected with the calender

    I deleted that account and the problem went away
