    Which OS???

Which is the most stable and best running 8120 OS for my TMO device? I'm currently running .124, but it lags A LOT and just freezes for a few seconds almost every time I use it.

    Which one should I get?

    Thanks

Your gonna laugh, but I still have the old version 4.5.0.52 on mine. It runs great without any problems.

Hey I'm not laughing. I just want a good working phone that I don't need to worry about without having to drop back to 4.3.

    Anyone else?

Have you checked the 8100 OS threads? They might give you some insight... I don't have an 81xx personally, but the threads have VAST knowledge...

Why would I check the 8100 when I have an 8120? That's why I'm in this particular forum.

Well, just let me know if you need the download for it. I'm sure it is still on my computer.

Yes I have gone thru and read everything, but most of that is pretty much right after installation and what people experience. Now that there has been some time I would like to know who thinks which is best.

I am using 4.5.0.124 (174) on my 8120 and have had no problems with it.

Are there any 3rd party apps running that could be slowing your BB down?

I am also using the .124 OS on my T-Mo BB Pearl and seem to be having the same lag issues. I randomly get the hourglass for sometimes as much as 15-20 seconds. I am however beginning to believe it's due to a third party app because I had a similar problem with the last ATT version I tried. I would suggest looking at any apps you have installed and seeing if they have an "automatic update" feature enabled. Those running in the background could easily slow down the Pearl.

I thought that too, but it was the OS.

Just an FYI I moved to the AT&T latest(.110) and all is the best it's been. I highly recommend it.
