    where are the 8100 themes?

I have been using the Vodafone theme on my 8100 for some time now, and while its the best thing of what they have available, I'd really like to see some new themes. Anyone know if its possible yet to make themes for the pearl and if so are there any good ones laid out like the Vodafone theme?

You can also check the 8100 theme section which should be on the top of he page when you load the 8100 forum page. If you have anymore questions just post back.

Check right here in these forums, there is a section dedicated to them:

Hope you find one to your liking.

Re: where are the 8100 themes?

I guess I should have clarified, the themes in that section mostly just look like the same general theme with a different background or different backgrounds for different functions, like calls etc. None of them are much different from each other except for the wallpapers used, except possibly the iPhone themes.

I was referring to like entire new themes, in the way that all the themes that you can find on the phone with an unlocked blackberry.alx file are. Vodafone is very different from Cingular which is different from O2, etc. They all look and feel like whole new things, not just the same functional theme with new wallpaper.

Well peterbaiby(spelling) has made 2 themes that look much different(icons too) than all of the others. Check in the OTA theme section for his themes. I believe they are called stone and tri color? You should be able to find them.

I think he was pretty clear that he wanted a theme "laid out like the Vodafone theme". That's pretty much what I'm waiting for too. Either a vodafone template or a today plus template.

I'm guessing it be quite awhile before we get more that the Icon and Zen base themes to modify in theme builder. That's just my gut reaction based on past performance from Plazmic.

    Sorry to disappoint

Re: where are the 8100 themes?

The software that came out some time ago for building diff themes for 8100 aint all that good in my opinion. U have a very limited work space and can only work with two kinds of already built-in themes with the phone. I did a few themes before, but honestly they just take way to much time, IF u're talking of creating your own and not just a change of colors or backgrounds. So I just hope they release an upgrade or just a new software.
