Hey, I just got a new 8110 and I was just wondering, what is the best, or your favorite GPS application out there?
I'm a huge fan of tel nav I use it almost every day for work

I'm gonna have to go with WLS with weather, traffic, maps, nav, movies, and a 411 all based off of your GPS location. It is by far my fave. A close second is GPSed, I used the /whereis feature for my parents to track me while I was on my motorcycle vacation. So I didn't get bugged with phone calls to see if I'm safe.

How do you like google maps?
I think google maps is better than tele NAV...almost the same..but google maps is a bit easier
How do the rest of the stackers feel about this?
The wife loves gmaps on her 8110.
I'm no fan of Telenav, but I'll second the nomination of Google maps and Live Search.
I've tried AmazeGPS, but I wasn't impressed.
Once you have tried GoogleMaps you will get spoiled!!.
A few more GPS apps that I've heard were good but haven't tried yet are Beyond411 and Nav4all.
maybe someone who's tried these can chime in?
BBs in use: Pearl 8110
Currently running OS 18.104.22.168
I gave Nav4All a legit testing period of 4 weeks. On places i knew how to get to and places i didn't. Seems like the closer you are to the destination the more reliable it is. For instance i was across town and it told me to take 14th st till i got to my destination, 14th st doesn't exist between 108th and 156th. Got me lost several times, I stick to my trusty WLS which hasn't given me bad directions ever.
Amazegps is almost as bad as Nav4All in my testings also, but the biggest thing i didnt like about Amaze was the looooooooooooooong loading time.
Never tried Telnav
NONE , cuz i have freakin verizon.! heheheheh

Ouch, F verizon for that BS.

I love google maps use it pretty much everyday
I have beyond411 n google maps...I like google maps cuz of the "directions from current location" feature...as your driving you click on that feature n it locates you for easy directions..beyond411...I don't like as much cuz it looks too much like mapquest....n I'm sure we all could agree that mapquest is the worst of the worst when it comes to directions..for example...if you use mapquest n try to get directions from NY to Paris, France...see wut that tells you for a good laugh....anyways..I'm not saying beyond411 is bad...but its no googlemaps...I gotta check wls a little more...
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~m.tellme.com only works for ATT
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ok guys thanks. I think I am going to settle for wls. Is there an ota link for that anywhere?

Can someone provide the Blackberry 8100 - GPS 101?
I currently have a plan with T-mobile. No Data Service.
I purchased a Bluetooth GPS Data Logger.
It syncs, but the problem is no map data is displayed.
Do I have to download a new program?
Do I require a Data Package?
Unlocking best option?
Sorry to sound noobish, but I do not want to make mistake that will cost me greatly with t-mobile.
