BB Messenger is a PIN messaging software that allows you to communicate with other BB users using their Personal Identification Number. You can get it by going to www.mobile.blackberry.com to download under the downloads tab. You add people by inputting their PIN under the Add Contact tab in the menu.

Most people in this forum have their PIN's listed in their profiles. There is also a thread http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com..._list_2_a.html where hundreds of people have listed their PIN's.

No, the software is free. The nice thing about PIN messaging is that it doesn't use up your text messages and it is usually faster than texting.

To find your PIN, go to Options/Status and it should be listed there.

Sucks PEARL doesnt have msn messenger with out data plan. It's funny how some of my friends have these ugly free phones and even those have msn included with no additional data plans or internet services.

I thought the OZ instant messanger used SMS and not data? That is what I've always been told. Do you still need a data plan to use those?

Red, I believe OZ uses SMS therefore, no data plan is necessary.
