for some reason, when i send text messages now, after they've gone through successfully, there is a little D underneath the check that indicates it was sent. any idea what that's all about?

never seen it before but after just doing a cold boot, it's appearing.

    many thanks

I actually get that little "d" appearing as well. I am pretty sure it means that the message was delievered.

I am almost positive that if your talking about in the bb messenger then the little d means that the device you sent the message to has downloaded the message and the little r means that they replied to it.

    Hope this helps,

Actually using the BB messenger application, the (d) means delivered and the (r) means read. So when you send a message and it reaches the recipient it will show (d) for delivered and when they open the message it will turn to (r) as in read. Very Cool! Real Time!
