What is the blue circle at the top of my screen? (pic included)

The blue circle I'm talking about is below the "AT&T" and above the "Phone" icon. What is it? And how do I get rid of it. It stays there no matter what theme I'm using.

Is it a new voicemail icon? If it's anything related to voicemail, I need help because I am having the Invalid Phone Number error whenever I hold down the "1" key.

SPEEDY not extacly sure since I'm on TMO, but I think it has something to do with PTT. Do you use PTT?

SPEEDY since you still have the number just make a new address contact, name it voicemail and assign it to speed dial #1. That's the easiest way I have found to work around the glitch.

Have you tried changing themes and seeing if the icon changes? Is it a saved webpage?

Its the ptt icon. This blue symbol means your ptt is not active.

You guys are definitely right thanks. It was never there, until out of curiosity I entered PTT's setup screen. Now that icon is there even if I have PTT turned off. Anybody know how to get rid of it?

You can delete PTT completely from your phone if you don't plan to use it. You can do it by changing the name of the PTT.cod files in your Phone's OS folder on your PC. When you do a sync to your PC and run app loader, it won't find the files, so it will delete PTT from your phone.

There is a thread here that talks about it if you are interested.

I recommend just changing the cod file extensions from *.cod to *.old, that way if you decide down the road you want to add PTT back, all you have to do is reverse the procedure. I know it works fine, I have done it to my phone without a problem, but I'll throw out the "try this at your own risk" anyway. Do a backup of your phone before proceeding, just in case.

Thanks, sounds easy to do. Trusted+

I'd assume that even if I did delete PTT permanatly, reinstalling my AT&T OS would bring it back right?

Yes, if you download and reinstall the OS .exe file from the website, it will reinsert the PTT .cod files for you.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~also you could do a battery pull much easier than deleting it
