Sorry, this has probably been covered, but I did try the search function.

Is there a codec, third party app, different browser, or anything I can download so that I can view imbedded video on websites.

I am running an 8130 on Verizon, OS 4.3.0.97 and currently using whatever default browser came with my BB. Thanks in advance!

What type of video is it first? If it is a Flash style video it will not play. There is no Flash support for the BB.

I guess I never really paid attention but I would assume its flash. Are there rumors or documented plans of future flash support?

You would have to ask Adobe. They are the ones that produce Flash and would need to have codecs written to support the BB OS.

Skyfire is currently in private beta for windows mobile but is supposed to have a version for blackberry one day. It is supposed to have flash built in. But who knows when it will be ready for blackberry. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
