    Wall vs USB Charging

I have limited power sockets, so I usually would prefer to charge by USB if possible, but is there a difference whether I charge my phone by USB or the power adapter? Like, will it take longer to charge using USB?

    Just a nitpicky detail, haha.

I have never noticed any difference. I have the same problem - limited power sockets so if needed during the day I use my laptopp for charging and wall charger at night.

I don't even own a home charger for either one of our BB's. They both spend almost all thier charging time plugged into USB (along with my BT headset). I generally get by for almost 3 days (unless I play games all day long. ) between charges.

I think it takes more time to charge from my laptop's USB than from the wall. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I charge mine in a wall charger when I'm sleeping, about every 3rd day. Occasionally I charge via USB, normally when I'm syncing/updating.

    Re: Wall vs USB Charging

it will definitely charge faster on the wall simply because the power from a USB port cannot compare to the magnitude of the power directly from the wall

    Re: Wall vs USB Charging

The AC ADAPTOR is built (now i am just taking this from what i know from other wall chargers) to change the amount of Electricity running from the wall to the right amount for the device so it should be pretty close to USB and visa versa... suggestion... buy a self-powered USB Hub and use that. i know that when ever my computer goes into sleep mode the USB power turns off. But with the self-powered hub it wont do that.Thats what most iPhone users complain about. i swear there should be a limit as to what you can buy without getting a certification in using the device before hand... i am point my finger at the morons who bought the iPhone and have no clue on how to use it.

In my experience, it is ridiculously fast either way, considering some mornings I'll wake up and notice my battery is drained, and I'll pop it on a charger, and it will be full before I leave. Other times, it'll start dying during the day, so I just plug it into my comp while at a meeting or something, and its good.
