    Vodafone MMS Problem

    Hi all,
    I have an 8100 on the UK Vodafone network and cannot receive MMS messages. I can send an MMS ok, but when I receive one I only get the text portion along with a message that says "Could not receive message content. Try again later".
    I have spoken to Vodafone and they have no idea.
    Any ideas please.

    tony, welcome.
    have you tried a batt pull
    phone on batt out for 30 sec then back in.
    try that then let us know how it goes.

    Hi Kayos72,
    Thanks for the reply, I have already tried this on several occasions and no luck. Vodafone also suggested doing a manual roam and changing to another network and then manually back to Vodafone so that I got re-registered on the network, but that also made no difference. The strange thing is that I can send no problem and that I get a message, just with no content. If I open the menu in the failed message I get the option to 'Retrieve Now', but that does nothing.

    go options>mms
    check multimedia reception is always
    automatic retrieval mine is home only
    check those let me know!

    also go options>advanced>service book see if there is a service book for "mms config"
    if not that's the prob.
    is this a company bb or personal?

    and another thought, in desktop manager launch app loader and make sure "blackberry attachment service" is checked

    Have done everything you suggested and I now have pictures.
    Don't know which bit did it, but success anyway.
