Vivo and Research In Motion (RIM) are launching the new BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8110 smartphone in Brazil. Its main differentiators are the built-in GPS (Global Positioning System), the camera that now allows for video recording and the design associated to the new colors: Titanium, which reinforces the smartphone’s elegance, and Pink, focused on the growth of the female market of smartphone users. The handheld consolidates itself both as productivity and an entertainment solution for the retail market and is compatible with the Vivo Co-Piloto navigation service. Vivo is offering the new BlackBerry Pearl 8110 through all its channels in the country, starting at R$ 299 when purchasing the Vivo Escolha 650 plan together with an unlimited data package on BlackBerry® Internet Service.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 is one of the smallest and lightest smartphones on the market and features built-in GPS, along with the ability to manage calls, send emails, stay organized, surf the net, take and send photographs, listen to music, record and watch videos and access a range of business and lifestyle applications.
