    I enjoy watching video on the blackberries and wanted to take advantage of the flipberry's side view full screen bigger movie picture (like the preloaded video)


    What resolution do I need to convert my videos to?

    what programs are you using to concert for the flipberry?

    I am still using blackberry video for pearl and curve...

    I believe the screen resolution on that should be the same version as the pearl... At least I thought, let me find out ill get right back with you.

    Ok I just looked it up the screen resolution is 240 x 320.

    I don't know if there's a setting for that in the berryvideo program though.

    converted and uploaded to flipberry-but no good.

    It does not flip sideways like the sample video to take the entire screen. It just looks like a squished box.

    I noticed that the sample video isa mp.4 and I am uploading .avi's

    Well... A mp4 will play a little different, but if you need it flipped one direction I would look into another program, and flip the resolution around to 320 x 240 (instead of 240 x 320) you just need to figure out which direction you'll need it rotated. I know adobe has a program that can do it but I don't remember what its called and I don't know if it formats mp4's

    But hey I tried, maybe someone else has an idea

    I have been asking about this in another thread. It is supposed to work if you use the Media Manager in the Desktop app to put the video on your BB, but I can't make it flip no matter how I convert it....
