I do not believe that the Pearl takes video. Just stills. Unless someone knows of software out there that allows that...????

Atleast it supports video files. This is one of the things that makes me feel bad about my pearl. A friend of mine got a FREE junk phone from TMO and he has video recording and my pearl cant

The quality of the camera is very questionable, especially under low light (with or without flash). Any video recording with the same device would probably be disappointng at best.

It will SUPPORT video but until someone comes up with software or there's a new OS that enables video encoding, nope, there's only stills.

Pretty good stills, though, for a 1MP camera phone.

Photos aren'that great, IMO. At the higest resolution they seem on the grainy side, especially in lower light conditions.

Hey this camera beats the crap out of the one that was on the iPAQ 6925 I returned. I could have drawn a picture faster.

I think this camera is very nice and much better than any other 1280x1024 I have used. I mean its only roughly 1mp so its not going to compete with the 3,4,6+MP cameras. It great for casual use and always there as most of us always have our cells on us.

As for the video, people should have checked the features on the Pearl before purchasing if they wanted a phone that takes video. My last phone took video and I used it maybe 4-5 times as a test and the short clips a phone takes are very small and unwatchable if you ask me. A novelty but I dont miss it.
