the browser should be one of your main icos but if not is the icon with a planet looking thing and a ring around it.

you can also arrange which icons you want on your main menu. i personally like the bb dimension zan theme and that one lets you view all your aps and options easier it displays it with icons and easy to browse through them to change to these them you need to click the options button go to options and then them and choose that theme and you will be able to view all your applications much easier.

    Re: Using the browser

I don't know if it's the same with all BBs but when I got my Pearl it took about 24 hours after activation for the browser icon to appear on the screen. According to a T-Mobile rep, it takes some time to connect to their network.

    poolshark - welcome to pinstack!
first and foremost, do you have a data plan? without the data plan, your browser will never appear. if you do...
you need to set up your bis account...i'd give you a link, but you didn't note who your carrier is so try this:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...gin_pages.html
after creating your account, you will need to send service books.
    also do this:
    options>advanced options>host routing table
click menu and choose register now

let us know how it works out!

    poolshark30, Welcome to PinStack.

Follow cherri's advice, she's got it down pat. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

I tried a pearl a month back and I could not find a way to save an image from the browser. Is there anyway to save one. All I was able to do was save a page and that showed up as a message.

Patcatuk you should be able to save images. If you hit the menu key when you're over the image it ahloud give you the option.

Thanks very much for all the replies,i found it finally.and have just activated the data plan now so i should have it by tonight.
Ive been busy trying different themes too it seems that i can only add one theme (apart from the standard ones) is there any way to have more than one custom theme saved on my phone?

    Re: Using the browser

Poolshark, you may be running up against a memory limit on the pearl. Try deleting any unused Language Support applications from you Pearl. You can do this from the Options/Advanced Options/Applications screen or using Desktop Manager Apps Loader, if you have installed the OS file for the current version on your Pearl, on your PC. It has to be installed on your PC to be able to uncheck the unwanted languages so that apps loader will remove them.

    Hope this helps
    Rcbjr.
