    Using Bluetooth Headset for music

Is it possible to use a bluetooth headset to listen to music and videos so I dont have to bring my plug in headset everywhere with me... I've paired the headset and it works fine in calls but I cant find any setting to enable it during music or video.

    I have a Motorola H350 Headset if you're wondering.. and my wife's is a H500

Yes there is a way, not built in tho, or free, but you can try it for free, use dollar5 media player for BB unfortunatly it isn't stereo Bluetooth, but at least you get to use ur bluetooth headphones

it's a shame they dont put normal headphone jacks on mobile phones as most people use them as mp3 players and the head phones that come with the phone normally su*k

Just get the Seidio audio adapter or buy the stereo wired headphones for the Pearl (and other 2.5mm jack BB's)... That's how I use my Etymotic ER-6i's with my 8800 and it works great. I picked up the one with the mic and multifunction button so I can use the earphones for calls too.

IIRC the 8300 has a 3.5mm (standard) headset jack.

I know, talk about common sense. Also, cars should come with AC power outlets and just skip the the DC/AC adapters. I mean, how long have cars been around? How about AC power outlets? How about mobile phones/music players/etc? I think the makers of "car only" products are paying off the auto industry NOT to make AC outlets standard on cars so that they can keep their market.

So, I am thinking its the same for mobile audio, companies that make headsets, chargers, etc want the phone not to work with standard devices so that there is a marker for their specialized products with high profit margins.

Thanks for listening to my tirade,

I think Originally it was a size issue, ya gotta remember that technological improvements have made the electronics that we use smaller and smaller, therefore the size of the jack internally was large as well. Now their reason probably is no longer the same, but they are already working on that, if I remember correctly the new pearl for gsm networks will have a 3.5 jack on it, either way I still would rather have the a2dp profile working on my pearl. My main issue is that they already have it on the curve and haven't released a firmware that allows it on the pearl yet!

Re: Using Bluetooth Headset for music

I'm looking for a solution to this as well. I have a Motorola S9 headset, would love to be able to listen to music/watch video on my Pearl with them, but sadly it doesn't work. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

    Thanks!
