    you can purchase IM+ it is a one time fee of $50

    Yes. you need an IM app, such as IM+, Ramble or one of the other 3rd Party IM applications. The two I mentioned use data so they work well according to reports.

    I use Verichat which allows you to run both at the same time. It's not as inexpensive as IM+ though.

    thank you everybody......and may i ask.....do u get all features as if i was using it on the pc...if not, what can i use..are there limits etc. etc.

    it's not as fully functional as it is on the PC

    I had this gunky phone a year ago or some and I had msn mess on it with out internet or any data plans, why cant we have it on a $400 Pearl???
