    Question User can receive mail from BES, but cannot send

    OK so here goes,
    One of the users on our BES recently upgraded his TMO Pearl to OS 4.2.1.107 and about a week later, he was unable to send mails from the device. I have tried reactivating the device on the BES as well as resend the service books, but the option to send mail is greyed out. Also, he is having an issue when he deletes email from his handheld, it doesnt delete it from his Outlook, but if he deletes it from Outlook, it will delete on the handheld. Any ideas?

    I would suggest refreshing him on the BES, also make sure he is congifured with the DM (or on the handheld) so that mailbox wins in a conflict.

    Low level fix. the user doesn't have a quota limit set does he. Probably try purging the messages in deleted from his device. If this doesn't cure it, then email me and I'll talk you through a few other things. If you wanna messenger me, pin 251D650C.
