Just go in and compose a message, email, text or what ever...you won't be sending it.

when in there hit the menu button and the go to enable-suretype

I just recently called TMobile about that and they said it's and error with the BB, but they're trying to fix it. I know it gets annoying cuz it covers your signal bars.

Not really - it just means your multi tap is locked on.

You can also go to any text input box (message compose) and hold down the */sym button for about 3 seconds or so. Hope this helps

Tmo and Verizon have the BEST BB support that I have found out of all the carriers, and I am in contact with ALL the carriers atleast 50 times a week.

You think TMO is full of it? Try Sprint. (oh, just wait 4 hours and it will work).

Plus, if TMO can't fix your problem in a timely manner (usually for me its within 30 minutes), they have NO problem what so ever actually getting you to RIM for support, which Sprint will NEVER do.

And it doesn't cost you anything but your time to call TMO, but when they escalate something to RIM, they are actually paying RIM $70/hour for the support that they are giving you, so it's coming right out of TMO's pocket because they couldn't assist you.

I gotta agree with N8 in regards to tmobile's customer and tech support. I have had tmo myself for about 8 years now and have dealt with several other carriers via my job.

Amp'd mobile is by far the worst when it comes to customer support, with Sprint right behind them. Tmo has always come through in providing support for my cell phones...luckily because of this site I rarely need to call them anymore, but when I do I know I'm going to get good customer service.
