Good call, DC. Is the Default browser configuration setting there different from what you would set from within the Browser>General Options?

Yes done that too. I have

Default brower configuration : Internet Browser

Default MDS browser configuration: Internet Browser

Default WAP browser configuration: Vodafone Live!

All present and correct. So far it has behaved itself and has been selecting IB instead of Vodafone but I know it will revert again.

Yes, Randy so I see. At least on Pinstack you are not passed over for another problem, people keep coming back and checking to make sure your problem is solved.

Likewise I am learning so much about my Blackberry from this site. Am starting to feel more confident in what I am doing and taking more risks (lol!!!) going through the options and trying different settings etc even Bluetoothing from one phone to another...

I absolutely love my BB that when I need to upgrade (next October) I might not as I know I will have to start all over again with a new device cos I intend to move on up..

Hopefully I will be able to help people soon with some of my knowledge gained from this site.

Not gonna bother, I never saw any software for his provider which is O2 UK. Saw everybody else's and really cannot be asked to search anymore, plus I dont think he is really fussed...

    Hey Roger/Randy

I wonder if you can help me with something else since my OS update.

When I first did the update my emails used to come in in HTML showing the pictures et al. But now for some strange reason I am just getting boxes where the pictures should be and with the title of what the picture should entail.

Is there anyway I can change this to show the images instead of an empty box with the wording of what the image should be?

    Sher,

While there is a setting for downloading images automatically within the Email Settings, externally linked images (like those you describe) will require you to download them manually by pressing the BB menu button from within the email, then selecting Get Image(s).

This article has somewhat of an explanation in the final note.

    Cheers,
    Roger
