    Unwanted Preloads

This is probably in this forum somewhere already but is there anyone who knows how to get rid of all the preloadeds on the pearl, like the wallpapers and that stupid video. Ive been going through some of the threads and seen that there was an update but on the OS to .101. I updated mine and now I finally have the [C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8100-v4.2.1.101_P2.3.0.80\Java] folder everyone was talking about but I dont see any of the items I want to take off..?

The video you can do from Applications. As far as the ringtones, pics and other preloaded media you can use javaloader from pc to remove.

I run the application loader but the video is not a choice to remove. Where is the javaloader?

be sure "Show hidden files and folders" is selected within View in your explorer Folder Options

see these threads at BBFo for detailed notes on which files can be deleted

    deleting themes and media

    alternate alx edit method

don't forget to BACK UP and try moving the files before you delete them completely
