Remember that you need to turn off wireless mode before attempting the unlock code. Turn off wireless, remove the sim card, put the battery back in, and try again.

And if you are having problems with a company's service, getting on here and screaming doesn't usually help as much as politely contacting the company, and asking if they can help you. They probably didn't SCAMM you, they probably just made a small mistake, or you aren't following the unlock procedure right.

Bionic Wireless. They unlocked a 7290 for me the other day.

Look in the Pinstacker Reviews section. I have a review on them listed there as well as their contact information.

I was told in another forum that some kind of law passed a while back where the carriers must unlock your phone if asked.

I dont know is this only applies after your contract is up and your switching providers or all the time.

I just unlocked my old Moto Razr from www.UnLockItNow.com. A site I found recommended in the stacks. It was quick and pretty easy. If you have the USB cable, it's pretty cheap too! ($25)
