Hi, i have a unlocked pearl and for some reason recently because of adding and deleting themes im missing the browser icon and phone acts wierd. If i do a master reset will it interfere with the fact that i have an unlocked phone?
Would i have to unock it again or would it the unlocked feature? Thanks

There is nothing you can do that I am aware of that will affect the unlocked status of your device. Once it is unlocked it will remain unlocked.

My guess is that you have a phone that still has one of the older Desktop Manager applications on the CD that came with the phone. Did you by any chance install the DM from the CD?

Did you use that Desktop Manager program to install themes/add/upgrade your phone in any way?

If thats the case, its possible you have corrupted your OS with the faulty DM app.

You'll have to download the latest DM application and latest OS for your phone. You will need to install the DM to your PC, install the OS file to your PC, then connect your phone and run DM to upgrade the OS.

That will cure everything and restore your browsers.

BEFORE you try all that, however, try a battery pull and resend your service books to see if you get the browsers back. If not, the faulty DM is most likely the culprit.

LTF is right, and I appologize that I missed that the browser was your original issue. You might want to take a look at Red's FAQs. #7 will give you more information on the missing browser fix.
