    Unable to see mails......

    I have had a user with a pearl 8100.
    I upgraded the firmware as she was having problems with the password / unlocking it as Numerics kept on sticking....

    but then I had problems with the reconcile now option vanishing from the device. I re-sent the service book, did the usual battery pull etc etc....

    So I thought I'd wipe the phone, this took nearly 70mins which was a little worrying ..... I then re-activated the phone, but now there are no mails - although the device is receiving / sending......and the reconcile now option is back - which doesn't do anything

    Contacts have synched ok. .... help!!!

    Is your company using BES? or BIS?
    Do you need to add the users email address again after the phone wipe?

    We are using BES 4.0 at the moment..... I went through the process of Enterprise activation, entering the users e-mail address etc...but there are no historical mails synching....... I'm not sure if upgrading the firmware on the phone has caused this problem.......

    Update: Problem now resolved - wiped the phone and re-activated - OTA synch now worked fully
