Do you need a microSD card in order to play mp3's? I tried downloading a ringtone and it's listed under my ringtone section but it says it can't play mp3's?

you need a memory card to put music on your phone because your device only has 64mbs of internal memory before preloaded media and any other applications that you've loaded on there.

with that being said, the ringtone that you downloaded might not have been an mp3 or if it was it's not formatted correctly to be played on your phone.

I'm just very confused lol I have no idea how to work this thing so I figured this would be the best place to start haha. But the ringtone I downloaded was right off the T-mobile website and it comes up as a .Mp3 file so I probably just need to get that memory card. Thank you though =]

Well call tmobile customer service and have them resend that ringtone back to you. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
