Unable to copy music to my phone

I can't copy music ( mp3's) to my phone. When I try to copy down or move mp3 files, using DM version 4.6, it sayes one or more of the files could not be transfered. I don't have any problems coping pictures. Do I need a media player? I didn't have this problem with my 8100.

    Model 8220, 4.6.0.151, ATT.

Have you tried without using Roxio, just drag and drop the files onto your media card from the computer.

Just plug in your BB via USBs and the BB will show as a removable drive... from there just click and drag to the proper folder... which should be BlackBerry\Memory Card\Picutres, or something like that...

What impak said is 100% workable.....just use Windows Explorer to move your mp3 files from a folder on your PC to the SD card in your device.....make sure these settings are active before you plug your device into the USB port on your PC:
options>memory>media card support on & mass storage support on.......exit, save then plug your device into the PC and move the mp3's over......good luck.

A little side note to what BestWitted and impak noted would be that in some cases you will need to do a battery pull before some or any of the recently transferred via pc files will show on your device.

But that is just in my own experiences in doing it this way.
