    U should have a CD with your pearl. Install the CD, open your desktop manager software, plug in your usb to your pc and your phone. If your desktop manager cant find the connection do this

    On the DM Software go to Options/Connection Settings
    Now change then connection settings to "USB-PIN" or something like that and hit "ok" Try and see if that changes anything.

    If this wont help, plz try to be more specific what u have, how u do it, and what are u trying to do.

    Im having a smilar problem, I cant seem to find the right desktop manager to install for my 8100, I bought the phone from a person but did not get the software, and when i try to use software myy brother got with his 8800 i keep getting a script error, any suggestions on how I could fix it?

    I suggest you un-install the DM that is not working and download 4.2 from:

    Do you have the 8100 OS installed on the PC? That would be why you're getting the error since its trying to load the 8800 OS onto your pearl.

    my bb is blinking red and wont even turn on. after the updates i was downloading stopped and it wouldnt turn on wut do i do? someone plz help me
