Unable to Complete Request
I recently downloaded a theme (Today plus). It downloaded and worked fine but when I tried to sync my blackberry and transfer my yahoo calendar and numbers it tells me "unable to complete request". I never had a problem before. I checked the help logs within and disabled any anti virus and/or firewalls, the problem still exists. I then uninstalled the theme thinking IT was the problem but no deal...has anyone had this problem before? what can I do to fix it?
I have seen It a Time or 2 close the DTM and go to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync> and delete the files with your Pin number, if you have had more then one BB there will be a pair for each BB you have had, Pin number, and then Pin number.cfg. delete all pairs then reopen DTM and when you go to Sync again it will prompt you to setup the Profile info again, what ever you sync with OL or whatever, this should fix it.

well after further clicking and using the browse i was able to find the docu. and settings folder which contained the application data folder (no username folder) which contained a microsoft folder which contained an internet explorer folder which contained a quick launch folder which has a myspace im application....so i must have taken a wrong turn somewhere.
Try this - copy this address into your browser:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync
Make sure you replace USERNAME with your username (look under c:/documents and settings and you will find the correct name.
Hope this helps!
it did, good lookn' out;....i didn't have any pairs like the other person was saying so i just deleted the files related to my pin (hope that didn't affect anything crucial), although for some reason there seems to be someone else's pin files, which is odd since i'm the only one with a blackberry in my house...i left that as is for fear it could be something important. but i guess that's another topic for dicussion.
