    Un-lock the Pearl

I just received a Pearl from a friend of mine, it's a T-mobile phone and I have Cingular service. I was wondering if anyone knows how to un-lock the phone?

Call cingular cust service and request an unlock code..it will probably take 24-48 hrs to receive the code.

No...Tmobile has the phone, cingular cannot unlock it. have your freind call TMO -- they are pretty easy to work with and will unlock for free - IF T Mobile will not unlock for your friend then try http://www.gsmphonesource.com/ or http://www.unlockblackberry.net/

Good answer, except for the fact that the people that posted before you may have died from old age lol - this thread is from 2007, almost 6 years ago. I doubt whether they will see your answer!

You're serious? Not that it matters. My Pearls were lost in Noah's floods, circa 2005...no wait, 2006! Yeah, that's it!

Along with my 7290 and 8707V...I wonder how much they're worth.
Probably zilch! Maybe Dave wants them?
Make me an offer bud, as long as it covers mailing costs to Canada. Heck no, I want a little more
