    1.You can put mp3s on your pearl through the media transfer part of the BB Desktop Software. You are best off using a media card in conjunction with the pearl for mp3 listening so you dont kill the bb's memory.

    2. You can download themes (once you get your browser) from the blackberry link which i think is in your bookmarks already, which is mobile.blackberry.com

    3. How long ago did you get the phone, it can take a few hours for the browser to come in. Try resending the service books (settings -> advanced settings -> Host Routing Table -> menu -> resend service books) or a battery pull (reset device by pulling battery).

    Welcome to the stacks (noticed its your 2nd post)!

    Thank you very much. This phone is wonderful. And I'm sure will be much better when I finally get all of it's features. Any good applications you use? And how do I add another email account? I have about 4.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the browser should show up if you have a data plan enabled ... If you still aren't seeing the browser you should call your provider and Check to see if they still need to activate something on their side.

    When you do get the browser working you can get themes and other appa from mobile.blackberry.com

    Re: Two quick questions...

    I think its much easier to add email addresses from the web on the comp (your carrier has a BIS website for you where you can do it, the links are here for your carrier somewhere in the forum). As for apps, it all depends on what you need. There are great apps for everything, stock monitoring, Opera Mini for web browsing (works great for banks and myspace), YakOn, IM+, Ramble, and more for data IM...If theres a function you think you might need, ask on the forum and i'm sure there will be someone with an app to fit your needs.

    Called Cingular. They had me reset my phone, after updating the host route and resending me service books. Still no icon for the browser or BBBrowser.

    This might be a silly question but do you have Data turned on? I think if you see the words "edge" on your homescreen around your signal strength meter it means it is turned Off.

    Re: Two quick questions...

    Go to:
    "Options-->Network"
    "Data Services" needs to be turned "On". When it is the word "edge" will disappear and possibly be replaced with "GPRS" or nothing. I don't have a data plan myself so I'm not sure

    Sorry to mislead you then. I was just going from what I have read (as I do not have a data plan but researched it). Anyone else have any suggestions?
