when you bought the phone did you buy a microsd card?
I'm guessing no, you will need one to transfer songs to the BB.
You will transfer songs and videos to the card.

    Oh now I'm steaming MAD!!!

    Just Teasing....

You can transfer to device memory, but that's not recommended since you only have 64mb of it.

If you want to do that, just connect your Blackberry up to your PC. It will probably prompt you to enable Mass Storage. Select Yes. Then it will appear on your PC as a Removable drive. Open that up. and you can drag and drop. Mp3s should go into your Music Folder.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you need more help.

The files will not show till you unplug the usb drive. You can get a good deal on mini SD card at amazon.com. when you plug in the usb drive look at your BB. It will say turn mass storage on? say yes to that. You will find the blackberry drive on "My computer" will be called "expernal hardrive" Or somethig to that effect, you can put them on that way.

The mirco SD card will cost you around 22-23$ 1 gig for around $15. very good deal IMO.

ughh i hate my computer it never detects whats in my usb.
there hasnt been any "turn mass storage on?" questions on my blackberry at all
and to make matters worse, i cant even find anything that proves my computer even knows my blackberry is plugged in

Do you install the blackberry program you got with your phone? You will need that installed before you do all that. The mass storage might just be for when you have an SD micro card.

yeah, you have to install the desktop manager that comes with the phone before your computer will recognize it when you plug it in, and you have to have the micro sd in the phone for it to give you the "turn mass storage mode on" alert.
good luck, and welcome to the stacks
