Am wondering if there is a quick way to transfer an active call from the ... BlackBerry Pearl forum
Transfering a call from Phone to headset (or vice versa)?
Am wondering if there is a quick way to transfer an active call from the phone itself to a BT speakerphone (or from the speakerphone to the phone)?
Is there a specific key I need to press? or through the menu?
Should be an automatic thing, meaning when you activate/power on the Bluetooth, the call will automatically transfer. At least that's how my Bluetooth devices work.
Thanks for the quick response!
When I receive a call, it does automatically transfer to my BT speakerphone (in car). However, if I am in the middle of a call and want to transfer it back to the phone (so conversation remains private, or makes it harder for my kids to chime into the discussion from the back seat ), is there any way to do that quickly from the BB itself?
You have to go into the call menu and scroll to Activate Handset or Activate the device you are wanting to use.
Yea that's wat I was going to say too...when I get into the car if bluetooth is on, the phone will automatically attempt to connect. There is usually a delay in the process though. But to switch back to the handset as the previous poster said you just hit the menu and select handset. This transition is instantaneous. The only issue I have is when I am connected to the stereo and want to transfer to my bluetooth earpiece. Sometimes I have problems making that switch.
