So I know there is accuweather and google maps. Is there anything to keep up with traffic for the BB pearl? Like Traffic.com but as an icon on your phone like the two I mentioned?

Google maps gives you real time traffic updates in most of the large cities. www.google.com/gmm from your BB Browser.

Yeah, I'm confused. If you know about Google Maps..why not use it? It seems to be exactly what you're asking for.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~sakomoto, if you already have Google Maps located just go into the menu and select "show traffic". If it's not there, download the current version. Good luck.

In my experience, Google's traffic is not sufficient due to the delayed nature of it. I actually do better with the local DOT WAP site. At least in the Seattle area, 20 - 30 minutes of delayed data (through providers) is enough time for traffic to actually change. (drastically)

Good point. the delay has cost me on occassion.

One other program I use is TrafficEdge. This gives you access to traffic webcams in metro areas and is usually pretty close to real time (depending on the specific feed).
