It was a good leap to take......

Do you feel like the 8130 feels more solid, better made than the 8100? I ask because I have held the 8100s of a few friends since I got my 8130....and they feel strange, the buttons don't feel the same when pushed, they just seemed, well, cheap. Not trying to insult any 8100 owners out there........they look similar, but feel totally different. The 8100s definitely felt lighter weight.....but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

I did the same thing (made the same leap), and I think the build quality on the 8130 is better than the 8100 with the exception of the trackball. The trackball on the 8100 is far better in my opinion.

I prefer the customization of the 8100 trackball (color pearl), however the rest of the 8130 is really nice. I am still getting used to the updated SureType, the video camera is nice.

I think the main difference is the speed that the CDMA network harnesses. I can't believe I stuck it out with the GSM network for sooooo long. Now that Verizon has one a major portion of the 700mhz spectrum, things are only gonna get faster. w00t
