Will this recover my BlackBerry Messenger contacts list?
I had this same problem with updating to 1.103 and 1.107. Anybody know why?

I've trying to restore my BB messenger data base from older backups and it will not load for the life of me.

Maybe it has something to to with the content protection? I have that enabled. Its driving me crazy!

Not that I had that many but my BBM contacts reloaded flawlessly with both U/G's - lNow my content protection is disabled - I have no idea if this affected it but et me know if there are any other settings you want me to compare.

Hi Lexo - if you are still having problems try this link. I would also suggest you re-boot the computer and try all of this with nothing else running.

Re: TMO Handheld Software (v 4.2.1.107)

RE .103 and .107....my phone had gotten to the point of being just about un-usable yesterday with constant dropped / dead air during calls. It went from once in a while to the point where 1 to 2 mins into every call I would loose audio (it still showed connected) TMO also reported that this was the primary reason that they pulled the OS. I came home last night with the intention of taking both pearls down to .101 only to find that TMO had posted the new OS. So far so good - no dropped / dead calls today.

So it sounds to be like this OS is worth upgrading from .64?!

Yes. At the very least it is not as bad as .64. I don't see too much difference between it and .101 but definate jump from .64.

Re: TMO Handheld Software (v 4.2.1.107)

I upgraded to .103 just after it was released with no problems. I upgraded this morning to .107. The upgrade process seemed much faster than .103.
I have been using it all day, and all seems to be working just fine so far. Still very sluggish loading media files (pictures and videos). I did a reformat of the 2GB card, but it still seems very slow. I don't know if that is an OS issue.
    Thanks,

If nothing else it takes care of the delay when you answer a call that was so common on .64
So far .107 seems stable and quick (after 12 hours)

I dont have any video loaded just now but my photos on the sd card are loading very quickly. Now I am set for 3 pics to a row and that speed it up as well.

Re: BB Pearl v4.2.1.107 available now

Haven't had any issues with the previous .103 and haven't noticed any difference really. Sorry. Wish I could have posted something more informative.

Sorry for a stupid question here, but how did you do that? Get three pictures in a row I mean. Mine only shows two in a row.

Thank God, 'cause I have had 103 for a week or two and it's lagging. It's running pretty slow. I'll definitely be updating today.
