I'm trying to get my GF to drop the sidekick and get on a BB. This phone just might do it, she's been talking about wanting to get a decent flip phone lately.

Anybody else notice that when (from a PC browser) when you go to look at the pictures, that when you hover your mouse over the pictures, it says: "Blackberry London"

    Wonder what's up with that???

WTH, Rogers is already announcing the Flip while the U.S. still has yet to launch the Bold.

I'm moving to Canada. Plus they have syrup on a stick!

Each phone that RIM makes is designed with several goals in mind. One of these goals for the Flip BlackBerry was for it to be very affordable so as to appeal to mainstream buyers. Thus the low price for this model. The "price range" is $0 to $150. Each carrier sets it's own pricing as usual. Thus some will offer it for free with new service activation to lure customers away from other carriers. One thing for sure is this is no "cheaply made, low quality BlackBerry" it's every bit as nice as every other BlackBerry. What the new flipberry is for sure, is a great BlackBerry at an affordable price. And for those of you that don't like flip phones its no big deal. Just stick with what you like. I predict this phone will be a big hit and expand the BlackBerry user base to even greater numbers. Just the way RIM designed it to do. Never underestimate RIM, they are a very smart company.
