    Question Text editor/notepad ?

I just got a pearl a few days ago and am still getting used to some things on it like missing even a basic word processor for tapping up quick notes. Is there a (free) program that has the ability to save txt files to the memory card?

The MemoPad works fine for making quick notes but I don't think it saves to the Memory Card, nor does it save as .txt files. That being said, you can sync them to the Notes feature of an PIM or to an AscII text file using Desktop Manager. After syncing you can either export them as text files or cut and paste from the single AscII file if neede.

    Question Re: Text editor/notepad ?

If you find a plain old text editor that works on BB and accesses the memory card, I'd sure like to know.
I just downloaded a trial of eWord, but it appears to have the same issues as Memo pad - only accesses main memory - not the expansion memory card.
    Any suggestions?

also from dollars 5, is multiplay, which is free, and includes the text editor.
