Thanx for all the great info. Just knowing that TMO is serious about fixing the software is news enough. Don't jeopardize your job or your trust for a phone.

Atleast we all know T-MO is concerned and that you're providing info while it's in beta, thanks for your headsup.

With as fast as they were able to make this release, and with the urgency of the email, it will be soon. But then again, I guess I will see how well this faired with my couterparts. (But as I said, except for .64, none of the other os have worked for me. This one has, so I am very optmistic this will be the fix!)
Also, the reasons I have not "leaked" this software is two fold:
    1) I am one example. If this does not fix the phone for everone, I do not want to make people upload to a pos os (since if it does work it will be out very soon.)
    2) Leaking this info i could lose my job. Leaking prereleased software, I could be in even worse shape. I really hope that this doesn't madden you stackers. If I could, I would give it to you all because I know first hand how angry a broken phone can make someone!
You are certainly under no obligation to lose your job for a bunch of people you don't know on the internet.

I, for one, appreciate your information.

I've not had a problem with .103 but frankly, I welcome any upgrades just to ensure that my phone still works. :-D

.103 has been the only OS that I HAVE NOT had an issue with mms. Luckily I save all my downloads.

Re: Testing of New BB Pearl (8100) Software (rerelease)

(I'm playing with the new software as well) My guess for new software is after 8/24 - T-Mobile pulled the BB Pearl from Exchanges and Upgrades because they had the 103 software. Our testing is done as of 10am tomorrow morning - So if it works out then they can start flashing the exchanges over the weekend to send out, so I would guess if not Friday then early next week.

Ya know - I do find it funny how alot of people bashed T-Mobile for pulling it because it had issues - But these are issues that people keep asking if they are fixed on EVERY new software that's been released recently no matter what the carrier. Now it hasn't hit everyone but it has hit and people complained about it here - From what I've seen it's been since 4.2.1. Out of ALL of the other carriers who launched service, T-Mobile was the only one to pull it and admit there was an issue - That seems like a win to me that the carrier cares enough to fix it or at least try and put such a rush on it.

Also - blank MMS issues are more network related than software from what we've seen...
